I have the utmost empathy 4 women who don't want 2b pregnant​

A woman who is pregnant &... say the father is nowhere around, doesn't care anymore, doesn't want the child... should be the object of society's greatest pity and deepest concern. We need to help these poor women. They do not want to kill their children (unless they are psycho, maybe) but they feel trapped and do not have (often) anyone to turn to. Often the family rejects them AND the baby... well, maybe not often, but sometimes.

Instead of spending $$ on bridges to nowehre and studying shrimp on treadmills..

HELLLLLLOOOO... We need to have places where these women can have a good pregnancy experience... and feel good about giving up their "unwanted" (only unwanted by them...) children 2 loving families.

And i feel the families they come from (and the father's family) should definitely be made to help financially..

maybe it wouldn't be such an inconvenience if the state and private folks (and/or) CARED about them -- both woman and child

If a woman knew she could be provided for during the pregnancy, and have the child adopted to someone who would (maybe later in life?) allow her to have pictures and letters, etc.. from the child

many would choose that.

For *some* it would make a difference, however, for most, it would not. How long have you been debating abortion?

You do realize that there are women who are NOT poor who just simply do not want the responsibility of another child. Why do you think they use arguments such as personhood and bodily autonomy? OR refer to the unborn baby as a "parasite"?

Save the empathy for those who are truly in a crisis pregnancy rather than the majority who use abortion as an afterthought for their own carelessness.
