I came that they might have life !

A scripture that many dont understand, but speaks to one of blessed results of the Purpose of Christs Death is this one Jn 10:10

¹⁰ The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Life here includes Spiritual Life, which none by nature have. The Elect/Chosen of God are naturally like all other men entered into this world Spiritually dead in sin Eph 2:2-3, which mean Spiritually were alienated from the Life of God Eph 4:18;Col 1:21. Men are Spiritually dead because naturally were sinners, the wages of sin is death Rm 6:23, and all death is the result of sin. However because Christ came and put away the sins of His Sheep Heb 9:26, by His death/sacrifice Jn 10:10-11,

as proof and evidence that Christ death done away with their sins, abolished death, they are given Spiritual Life, all the world of His Sheep, from the beginning of the world unto its end, He gives Life [Spiritual and Eternal] to the World Jn 6:33

³³ For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.

This is the same Life He speaketh of in Jn 10:10 !

Now who are the they in Jn 10:10 that Christ is specifically referring to ? Is it all Mankind without exception or a certain segment, the Sheep ? Any honest reader would have to say Christ meaneth the Sheep, His Sheep, Which is also His Church Flock Acts 20:28

²⁸ Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood:

See that, The Flock as in Sheep and the Church of God are the same ! The Purchasing them with His Blood refers to His giving His Life for the Sheep Jn 10:11 !

Thats why Christ was given the Holy Spirit at His Ascension and being seated at the Right Hand of God, So He can give Him to each Sheep He died for, putting away their sins debt, and to give them Life from Spiritual Death Acts 2:33

³³ Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

And the Spirit quickens those Sheep Christ died for, gives them Life Jn 6:63; 1 Cor 15:45; Jn 5:21

Amen to parts 1 thru 3 !

All Christ's Sheep, the Flock of His Church, who were Justified by the Blood of the Lamb, Saved by His Life Rom. 5:8-10 in the Everlasting Covenant of Grace Heb. 13:20; had their names written in the Lamb's Book of Life Rev. 13:8b. So as each one of them Christ sanctified by His Blood are born physically in Time, they shall be given Justification unto Life, New Spiritual Life, quickened by His Spirit to communicate to them their New Spiritual Life in Christ.

Now if a person never experiences this New Birth in their lifetime, made to Live Spiritually, Christ's Death was not for them: They were never a Sheep of Christ, and God was never their Father !
