We cannot trust our government any farther than we can throw them. Cuomo and Whitmer deliberately fudged the numbers of covid deaths in their rest homes to protect themselves from criticism for causing the unnecessary deaths. Other officials around the country were attributing deaths of all causes to covid if they thought they could get away with fudging the numbers. Here is another example of open admission by officials to having fudged the numbers for whatever reason:
