Golgatha - search for the true crucifixion site

We know that the Temple faced eastward, across the Kidron Valley.
The most logical place for the Romans to display crucifixions
would have been 200 meters east across the Kidron Valley at the
southern end of the Mount of Olives. Presently, this area is
known as Silwan, and has been occupied by Palestinians.
Northward, is a very populous and prestigious cemetery,
which would be the logical place for Jesus to have been buried.
Of course, this conjecture is in opposition to ancient traditions.

If we place the Temple at the north-east part of the City of David, we can see the route the Jesus was taken. At the north-west corner of the Temple there were steps leading up to the Fortress Antonia, where Jesus was taken to the Romans.
From Antonia Fortress, there was a connecting bridge across the Kidron Valley, eastward to the Mount of Olives. From there, the Roman crucifixions took place in plain view of the Temple, which would have been about 200 meters to the west.
The wealthy cemetery was located just north of the site of the crucifixions, near the Mount of Olives.

The Roman Centurion was eye witness to the Temple veil being torn from top to bottom. This could only be observed from due-east of the Temple and across the Kidron Valley.
And it was about the sixth hour [3PM], and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour. And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst. And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost. Now when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous man. - Luke 23:44-47

Christ was Crucified on Golgotha, "The place of a Skull."

He was then taken down (after He died) and Joseph of Arimathea brought Jesus' Body to a tomb He owned. The Garden Tomb in Jerusalem fits the description provided in the Bible of Joseph's tomb.
