Salvation is a FREE Gift from God that has been provided by his Son Jesus Christ, John 3:16.

"For by grace (God's goodness) are you saved through faith: and not that of yourselves: it is THE GIFT OF GOD" Ephesians 2:8.

If salvation was imposed upon you (Predestination) it would no longer be a gift, it would be an imposition. Salvation is not an imposition it is freely provided by Jesus Christ for everyone as a FREE GIFT from God.

"That he (Jesus) by the grace of God (Goodness of God) should taste death for EVERYONE" Hebrews 2:9.

"But not as the offence, so also is the FREE GIFT" Romans 5:15.

"And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the FREE GIFT" Romans 5:16.

"But the FREE GIFT is of many offences unto justification" Romans 5:16.

"The GIFT of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ" Romans 5:17.

"The FREE GIFT came upon ALL MEN unto justification of life" Romans 5:18.

Sin was imposed upon us because of Adam, Romans 5:12. But salvation is a FREE GIFT from God for everyone that will receive it. If you don't receive God's great FREE GIFT of salvation, then it is not yours. John said, "But as many as received him, to them gave he the power to become the sons of God" John 1:12.To receive Jesus is to receive his FREE GIFT of salvation.

If you have to earn God's great FREE GIFT of salvation by works or obedience to the law (Catholicism) then it is no longer a FREE GIFT, it is a debt, Romans 4:5. If you believe that God's great FREE GIFT of salvation was imposed upon you (Calvinism) then it is no longer a FREE GIFT, it is an imposition. Impositions are not FREE GIFTS and may be considered to be a debt. To be in debt to God is to be under the law. To be under the law is to be judged by the law and condemned, Galatians 3:10.

Ephesians 1:14 KJV -

Paul said, "What? Don't you know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have of God, and you are not your own, for you are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body and in your Spirit, which are God's" 1 Corinthians 6:19, 20.
