Faith Counts for Righteousness, NOT Works, Predestination or Whatever

"But to him that does NO WORKS, but believes on him that justifies the ungodly, HIS FAITH is counted for righteousness" Romans 4:5

This is one of the most offensive scriptures in the Bible for Catholics and other religions that think works can justify. It is God's plan and God's will that faith is counted for righteousness and not works.

Here is some more scripture.

"What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, has found? For if Abraham were justified by works, he has something to glory about; but not before God. For what does the scripture say? Abraham believed God and it was counted unto him for righteousness" Romans 4:1-3.

The word "Faith" appears in the Bible over 250 times. In the Old Testament they were justified by faith because they believed in God's promise of a savior. Today we are justified by faith because we also believe in God's promise of a savior. In the Old Testament they looked forward to seeing the savior. We look back to when the savior was here.

The reason that Christians are justified by faith alone, is because Christians are justified by Christ alone. Christ is the Christians justifier, Romans 3:26. Jesus in our name and on our behalf, offers to God the Father a life of perfect obedience to God's Holy Law. It was his righteous life that was lived for our justification. This is why Paul said, "To declare, I say, at this time HIS righteousness: that he might be just and the justifier of him that believes in Jesus" Romans 3:26.

Faith is the glue of Christianity. Faith is what makes the Gospel ours. When a person comes to Chist by faith, God seals them with the Holy Spirit and places them in Christ.

"In whom you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the Gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that you believed, you were SEALED with the Holy Spirit of promise" Ephesians 1:13.

When a sinner comes to Christ to be saved by him he gets all that there is to get at that time. In Jesus Christ we are justified, sanctified, Made righteous, and redeemed, 1 Corinthians 1:30. There are no futher blessings of the Holy Spirit. God now sees the Christian as perfect and complete "In Christ" Colossians 2:10.

It is the Holy Spirit working in the Christians life that will produce good works and the Christian life, Ephesians 2:10.

Justification by faith honors God and glorifies Jesus Christ.

Those that oppose justification by faith alone are opposing the Gospel and are anti-Christ. It is the work of satan to place works in the same room with the saving work of Jesus Christ.

Man is a sinner. Sinners cannot save others, nor can sinners save themselves. The only thing that God honors in the Old Testament and the New Testament is faith. Faith plus nothing.

1 - Faith without the Law constitutes dishonor to HaShem. Jesus himself was an evidence of that fact for living according to the Law. (Mat. 5:17-19)

2 - Those that oppose justification by faith alone are not opposing the gospel of Jesus because Jesus was a Jew who lived by the Law.

3 - Indeed, according to Eccles. 7:20 "There has never been a man upon earth to do only good and never sinned." Jesus was a man upon earth and proved to have broken the Golden Ruler about 15 times only in Mat. 23:13-33. Therefore, he could not save others neither himself. Yahweh was his Savior.

4 - That's absolutely not true because faith without the Law is akin to a body without the breath of life. The name is dead. (James 2:26] And Yahweh is not a God of the dead but of the living who honor the Lord by keeping His Law. (Mark 12:27)

1 - That, absolutely makes no sense. What you are saying is that the "outlaw" who believes is justified in his sins. No one can be justified in his sins. He must repent and confess to be forgiven.

2 - Perhaps with this idea in mind, they have murdered millions of Jews throughout History through pogroms, blood libels, Crusades, Inquisition and last but not least, the Holocaust.

3 - That's not true. James himself said that Abraham was justified by works and not faith alone. Read James 2:21)

4 - That's not true at all. Your answer to this one is throughout Psalm 119. Have you ever read that longest of all Psalms? You might need to sit down some day and read it with gusto.

5 - Jesus is dead if I am to remind you and, once dead, no one can do any thing whatsoever. (Eccles. 9:5,6)

6 - Jesus would not contradict the Prophets of the Most High who said that no one can die for any one else. (Jer. 31:30; Ezek. 18:20) According to Ecless. 7:20 no one has lived a life of perfect obedience. "There has never been a man upon earth who has done only good and never sinned." Jesus broke the Golden Rule about 15 times only in Mat. 23:13-33.

7 - Jesus was a Jew and he would not accept outlaws without repentance and obedience to God's Law.

8 - Yahweh would not seal any outlaw before he repents and return to the obedience of God's Law. (Isaiah 1:18,19)

9 - As I can see, you have never read Psalm 119. You might need do just that sometime.

10 - I would have no part in this "holy spirit" who, throughout History has done a kind of work in Christians which has resulted in the murdering of millions of Jews throughout History.

The witness of the New Testament is so strong that you would have to be the worlds biggest fool to deny it.

The witness of the NT was such a big liar that to believe him, one must first get used to walk by faith aka blindly and not by sight aka by understanding. That's how Paul preferred his followers lived: Walking by faith and not by sight. That's in II Cor. 5:7 for your eyes only.

The New Testament is full of Old Testament quotes, which ties them together.
