I was thinking we should have a thread that we can discuss books, videos, resources, games, etc. that we have used in our homeschool experience.
Many times my family is sent on a learning adventure that started from reading a story or watching a video.
Also, as mothers and fathers, it is nice to know what others have find helpful and encouraging in the manner of raising your children.
We recently read about David Livingstone from the TrailBlazers books. It is a Christian book about the missionary/explorer so it focuses on his ministry more so than his discoveries. (our library actually carries Christian books :thumb: )
We also watched the Imax presentation of Shackleton's Arctic Adventure. That had me on the verge of tears. (I'm pregnant, human triumph can make one emotional
