That GIF presents the exact opposite of that cartoon phenomenon, how a character can use a fork or spoon to convey morsel after morsel of food from his dish into his mouth, yet without the quantity of food remaining in his dish ever diminishing in the least. (I think that happened sometimes on The Simpsons, at least. Probably on The Flinstones, too.)
