Adoption is a ridiculous process as it is- for some reason those people think that it's better for a child to be an orphan in their group homes or nurseries than to be with a family that is 'average'. They must go to super stellar households and because of that, a lot of them just stay in those places.
They act as if they care about the child's interest, but it's more so just a sense of authority and entitlement they have toward them. That is why a couple seeking to adopt have to impress them with more than simply promise and ability- they have to match their biases.
Unfortunately in the UK, people have been brainwashed by agendas and act like disagreeing with them is a crime. And that's what happened in this scenario- a couple were denied as if they were felons trying to adopt a child.
The whole system of adoption needs to be looked into and improved, because the whole system of it absorbs and is dictated by unwarranted biases of it's surrounding society.
