GENESIS 2:7
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

In the book of Genesis 2:7, when God made Adam, God breathed the breath of life into his body.

The breath of life is referring to the spirit, and the spirit is where actual life and actual breath comes from.

Breath and our ability to breathe is something that we do not have to think about doing, yet it is the essence of our life.

Here are some things about breath that you may not know:

Breath and life is inseparable: Everyone that is living must be breathing also, and everyone that is breathing have the ability to walk, talk, move, etc. While some people may not be able to do everything that other people can do, as long as they are still breathing, they are still living. Dead people, on the other hand, do not have any abilities at all because they have no breath in their bodies.

2. Breath alone is alive: Nothing that is dead can give life to everything else. Therefore, since everything that is living must be breathing, and seeing that breath gives life to all that has breath, this means that breath alone is alive.

Breath is the source of life: Everything that is living must be breathing, and every living things abilities are directly tied to whether they are breathing or not, which makes the abilities of all living things dependent on the breath in their bodies. This means the life of everything living centers around being able to breathe.

Our actual breath is something that we cannot see, but we need in order to live. All of these things testifies of God.
