The whole flaw of this show is that Bob needs proof from the Bible and the Church is not.

Also Bob admitted that the church does not worship Mary.

But a lot of Catholics in South and Central America do worship Mary yet the Pope never tells them to knock it off. Why not?

I don't think so. It is true they have some colorful pagantry but they do for Mardi Gras too and look at Christmas.

I mean a person can confuse in terms of some cultures have engrained beliefs. Haiti has lots of voodoo whether they are Protestant or Catholic.

This is the way Catholicism worked. From the inside of culture out.

I don't think you will ever stamp these beliefs out.

What is the Pope to do? It is already known officially what teh Church teaches.

The prayer is just a matter of symbolic language used.
