Bob Headed to Palin Protest in Indy

This is the show from Wednesday November 18th, 2009.

BEST QUOTE OF THE SHOW:
[National Right to Life's] 30 year general council, James Bopp, joined the Romney campaign. He was the special advisor to Mitt Romney. His title was, "Special Advisor to Deceive the Body of Christ." That was his official title. That was his title. Special Advisor to Deceive the Body of Christ to campaign for a child killer masquerading as a prolifer.

SUMMARY:

* Bob is Headed to Noblesville for the Palin Protest: If you can, please come on out! Please get there by 6 p.m. or before! Where? At the Borders book store, 13145 Levinson Lane! See you there! (Just wear a white coat or a white shirt over a jacket :) -Bob

* Here's A Blurb from today from Mother Jones:: check them out...

SarahPAC Scrubs Site...
On Tuesday, Mother Jones reported that the anti-abortion group American Right to Life planned to protest at one of Sarah Palin's book promotion appearances in Indiana because it believes Palin isn't really pro-life. ARTL's Exhibit A is Palin's March appointment of a former Planned Parenthood board member to the Alaska Supreme Court. ARTL had included the information in a report outlining its case against Palin on its new website, Prolife Profiles.

Apparently ARTL has hit a nerve with the Palin campaign. Less than 24 hours after the group posted the report, Palin's political action committee, SarahPAC, scrubbed its website of any mention of the court appointment. (Palin had issued a news release about it earlier this year.) Fortunately, ARTL cached the web page and it's now available for the ages here. They write in the new report:

"While National RTL and the pro-life industry continue to allow the Body of Christ to be deceived into thinking that Sarah is 100% pro-life, she cannot hide her record from God, nor from the public. Pro-lifers do not appoint abortionists to the Supreme Court just as an abolitionist would not appoint a slave trader. Please pray with us that Sarah will apologize to the children of Alaska, specifically those who have been dismembered since March 4, 2009, for appointing an 'outstanding' unrepentant pro-abortion lawyer. SarahPAC took this information down; ProlifeProfiles put it back up. Welcome to the end of child killing in our lifetime."

A nationwide research team working for American RTL launched ProlifeProfiles.com yesterday highlighting Sarah Palin's surprisingly pro-abortion record. See news reports about ProlifeProfiles.com at the Huffington Post, Talking Points Memo, USA Today, and Mother Jones magazine. See also the ARTL Action Romney Exit press release: "No longer will National RTL be able to give fraudulent 100% pro-life ratings to Republican pro-choice candidates without being exposed nationally."

* Walter Hoye Coming to Colorado! Big news! The sponsor of the California Personhood Amendment, Pastor Walter Hoye, is coming to Colorado to speak at the Dec. 6th dinner (at the fabulous Cinzetti's Italina Restaurant) to support Colorado's 2010 Personhood signature drive! It's $75 per adult so please come to hear one of Bob Enyart's heros, Walter Hoye, and to support Guabe Garcia Jones and Leslie Hanks, the hard-working co-sponsors of the amendment, in their effort to raise much needed funds to pay for more blank petitions, mailings, and everything needed to activate another 300 petition circulators!

* Colorado Personhood Needs YOU to Get Signatures: If you live in Colorado, could you help circulate the Personhood Colorado & CRTL 2010 petition? We need your help! If you live in any other state, can you help to advance personhood via the 2010 ballot or in one of three different ways?

I'm curious if anyone has sat down and explained to her where she is in error.
If so, and she stands firm in her convictions, then she should absolutely be exposed as someone who is not pro-life.

Let’s see if I got this right

We currently have the most pro-abortion president ever

Both houses of congress are controlled by the Democratic Party that supports federal funding of abortion

And you all are protesting Sarah Palin?

How will she know you guys are even around?

Are you going to stand in line?

I think the problem is that you see pro-life as a scale. To you someone can be pro-life sometimes and you would support them.

To American Right to Life action there is no scale of pro-life'ness. It is either you are or you aren't.

To those that say that they are pro-life but really aren't (Palin), THOSE are the ones who are to be exposed. Which seems to be the purpose of the protest.

Those that aren't pro-life need not be exposed because they aren't fooling the public of being something that they are not.

Palin's not big on ever admitting she makes mistakes; that said, I'm sure the ARTL's attacks are genuinely surprising to her.

Speaking of website scrubbing, is Bob's proposed new constitution available online any longer? I remember that a while ago it had oddly gone missing from the web.

P.S. I wonder what Palin and company would do if they knew they were being attacked by a group led by a monarchist.

all you are doing is exposing yourself

what you need to do is expose yourself to reality

Just a guess. It doesn't take a threat of arms or anything of the sort to be labeled a domestic terrorist. I don't know that he was accised either, but wonder why he would take it down.

Yeah, I seriously don't get it either. I really don't.

These pro-life groups are not helping the cause at all. In fact, from my standpiont, they're actually doing more harm than good.

I agree, and have been saying this for a while. This kind of infighting might make the ARTL feel better but this does not make any kind of inroads whatsoever towards ending abortion.

It does, however, look an awful lot like a divide and conquer strategy designed to control the debate.

Agreed. It serves no other logical purpose.
