Behemoth and Levithan

Behemoth
Origin

Early Hebrew plural of bĕhēmāh is "beast."
Behemoth is late Middle English, and is from late Hebrew bĕhēmōṯ.

Leviathan
Origin

Levitahan is from late Latin which is from Hebrew liwyāṯān .

Behemoth is the beast of the land, and Leviathan is the beast of the waters of the sea. Both are used as a parable for separate entities. The sea represents a multitude of peoples, and the land represents a under populated wilderness.

[ Deliverance of Israel ] In that day, the LORD will punish with his sword, his fierce, great and powerful sword, Leviathan the gliding serpent, Leviathan the coiling serpent; he will slay the monster of the sea.

The Church of England dates its history principally to the mission to England by Saint Augustine of Canterbury in AD 597. As a result of Augustine's mission, Christianity in England came under the authority of the Pope.
