Baptism is NOT optional for disciples of Christ

If anyone confesses,"Jesus is Lord'(Rom 10:8-11)then being baptised is an essential step of obedience. The command to be baptised is central to the Great Commission(Mt28:18-20). The baptism of converts to Christ was a foundation stone laid on the Day of Pentecost(Acts 2:37-41).
We must contend for baptism as an integral part of the faith once for all delivered to the saints(Jude 1:3). Believers baptism by immersion was the normal practise in the apostolic church (Acts). Baptism is a divine imperative for anyone confessing "Jesus is Lord".

So you believe that baptism is a requirement of salvation?

Yep. That's why Satan has a successful campaign against it. Jesus said make disciples baptizing them, but people don't believe it. Instead today, you become a "Christian" by ignoring his words and saying the sinners prayer which is not found in scripture either by example or instruction.

1 Tim. 6:3 If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ,

If anyone confesses 'Jesus is Lord'(Rom10:8-11)then their first priority must be obedience to the Lord's command(Mt28:18-20). Baptism is required of professing disciples of Christ. Either 'Jesus is Lord of all or not Lord at all.' Any question about baptisms relation to salvation, or any other doctrine, with the intent of denying the Lord's command to be baptised is the Devil's trick(Gen3:1).

Scriptures say don't even pray for sin. 16 If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it. 1 John 5:16 that sin unto death is the Adamic sin. You got to go in that water.
