Anyone enjoy vinyls?

I just dug out my dad's old turntable and started playing from Frankie and man, I wish I had done it sooner. The experience is just... different in a good way and it relaxes me after a rough day. Anyone else? Some personal favorites?

Yeah kid, I think most of us here grew up with records/albums. We didn't even call them vinyl then -

Yes, it is a different feel and sound

What are some of your favorites, PJ?

Deep Purple - Perfect Strangers

i grew up in the 70s so cassette tapes were bigger, but everybody had at least one turntable. My grandma had an old antigue Wurlitzer Juke box with albums from the 50s. my mom sold it, but it was the kind you see on Cheers or in the movies

cassette tapes ushered in "The Best Of" albums with all the best songs of a group. I liked those instead of buying all 5 albums from an artist I could get their best in one compilation. Who even needs CDs anymore ?
