"And You are Complete in Him (Christ) Colossians 2:10

Paul is not asking the Colossians if they would like to be "complete in Christ", nor is Paul asking the Colossians if they would like to become "complete in Christ". No, Paul is telling them that they are ALREADY "complete in Christ".

Isn't this what we all would like to be "Complete in Christ"? Isn't that the goal of every Christian to be like Christ or to be "complete in Christ"? The good news of the Gospel is that God sees us as "complete in Christ". Isaiah said, "Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow" Isaiah 1:18. When we come to Christ as repentant sinners to be saved by him, God seals us with the Holy Spirit, Ephesians 1:13 and places us "In Christ".

The word "MADE" is a very important word in the Bible. Paul said, "And has rasised us up together and MADE us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus" Ephesians 2:6. Again this is something like being MADE "complete in Christ" we didn't have anything to do with it.

Here is another scripture that contains the word "MADE". "For as by one man's disobedience many were MADE sinners, so by the obedience of one (Christ) shall many be MADE righteous" Romans 5:19. We do not become righteous, we are MADE righteous.

What does all of this mean? It means that God sees us as perfect and complete "In Christ". It also means that all religions and doctrines are worthless. If we are "complete in Christ" then how are you going to make yourself any better than what God has MADE you in Jesus Christ?

Because we are "complete in Christ" we can renounce every means by which we try to make ourselves "complete in Christ", which is religion. It is very apparent that we can do nothing to become "complete in Christ". This is something that God does. This is what Paul meant when he said, "For he that has entered unto his rest, he also has ceased from his own works (religion) as God did from his" Hebrews 4:10.

This should be the end of Calvinism, Catholicism, all religions. God now sees us as "complete in Christ". Spiritually, we are "In Christ" and Christ is in heaven. In Jesus Christ we have been MADE righteous. In Jesus Christ we have been MADE complete in him. In Jesus Christ we have been MADE to sit in heavenly places. How we see things doesn't really matter, all that really matters is how God sees things.

You are made complete in the same mind and judgment. There aren't going to be divisions in the body of Christ.
Now I exhort you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all agree and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be made complete in the same mind and in the same judgment. 1 Cor 1:10

Col. 2:10 is directed to "the saints and faithful brethren in Christ" Col. 1:2;
defined as the Elect chosen in Christ before the foundation Eph 1:4-5;
the Church Christ gave His Life for Eph. 5:25.

But not to every person who merely identifies himself as Christian,
while adhering to, and preaching a false freewill gospel of works!

May I interrupt you for a second? Hyper-Calvinism is the false gospel.
Hope you learned something here today?

By nature, the best a person can understand the scriptures is superficially Eph. 4:18; John 3:6.

1 Cor. 2:14
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God:
for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them,
because they are spiritually discerned.

Because God is Spirit, thus his Word is spiritual, so the scriptures can only be
properly understood by one who has been Made Alive Spiritually in the New Birth
:

1 Cor 2:12-13
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God;
that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
(v.13) Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth,
but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

God gives His Elect understanding when they are Born of the Spirit!

1 John 5:20
And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding,
that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true,
even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

Before any person is made Complete in Christ, he must first have had to be one
whom God has Chosen in Christ before the foundation of the world Eph. 1:4: In Union with Him!
That's the Election of Grace, and it's only a remnant of all humanity Rom. 11:5.

There is no other way for one to be in Christ. No one can, by his own freewill,
place themselves in Christ; for one to say he can, is nothing but a despicable lie!

So, the scriptures in your Opening Post are speaking to and about God's Elect.
Only they are made Complete in Christ, their Covenant Head and Surety,
by His Matchless Life and Death in their behalf!

The Holy Spirit is in the world calling all to come to Christ.

"Today if you hear his voice, harden not your heart" Hebrews 3:15.[/B

Have you hardened your heart so that you can no longer hear and believe the Gospel?

It appears that you have.

Jesus plainly claims to be the savior of the whole world.

This means that he has provided salvation for everyone, Hebrews 2:9.

Not just some, but for all, 1 John 2:2.

To deny this is a big one. It means that you don't have faith in his work of atonement.
