About man’s disastrous problem

Man is born with an inherited sin nature.

Man is born as an enemy of God.

Man has the free will to do anything he pleases.

Man is born under the influence of Satan and his demons.

The result of all of this …
Unredeemed man is disqualified from heaven, and God doesn’t owe man anything!
This answers such tough questions as: “Why do bad things happen to good people?”

I totally agree that man is conceived in sin and born an enemy to GOD. But it is anathema to me that man is created that way by GOD putting us into Adam and making us to inherit his sin! Nor can sinful man, enslaved to sin, have a free will because that renders our Lord's words enslaved to sin into mere babble.

I worship a GOD who is holy who will not go against HIS own nature and create that which is evil or sinful by any means such as using the surrogate Adam. Such a libelous theology would seem to be a holdover from the early church's fights with the gnostics as it was the gnostics who claimed that there were two eternal gods, one holy and one evil and then immature Christians who accepted the belief in ONE GOD also started to accept that GOD must have created evil and kept the interpretation of scripture that supported that blasphemy.

Ecc 7:29 Only this have I found: I have discovered that God made man upright, but they have sought out many schemes. and the most horrendous of these schemes was to accept the creation of sinfulness in man to be the work of our holy GOD merely because we are conceived and born as sinners.

Sin and estrangement from GOD only accrues to a person who makes a free will decision to go against GOD. We are not created evil in Adam - we were created with a free will and chose to be sinful and then, as sinners already, we are sown (not created) into Adam, Matt 13:36-39.

Yes, I believe man is born with a propensity to commit sins of commission and omission because our Father Adam partook of the knowledge of good and evil ... coupled with our gift of freewill from God and that additional knowledge we sin... and judgment has entered into the world ... AND we and all creation are in need of a savior.

That is not the only way we have fallen short of the mark God had for us. We need a savior to get rid of the curse of mortality upon our bodies. That why we need a new and better one.

Now why do bad things happen to good people? I see at least two reason:

1.) Sin has consequences ... and those consequences affect us negatively bodily and mentally.
2.) Because God did not cause death to come instantly, we suffer over time from the curse of mortality and are subject to all sorts of dangers.

Now, why didn't God bring death instantly to Adam and Woman/Eve? Obvious reason is: One of the first commands God gave humanity (male/female) was to multiply and reproduce. That command was one created to take place over time. In order for humanity to fulfill that command to grow God a family for his kingdom ... death needed to happen over time. Thus life as mortals while we reproduced.

3.) I learned this from God one day: Driving home ... still small voice said, "Wreck." Since I had heard that voice before I chose to be EXTRA careful in all ways on the rest of the way home. Bam!!! as I waited to turn left into my street I was hit from behind! I asked God, "Why was I still in a wreck when I had listened to his warning and took caution?" He answered, "YOU listened." I knew immediately HE meant, "YOU listened. She didn't!"
I also remembered that I listened but did not pray to the Lord for protection.

So bad things can happen to good people when others are not listening even when you are. After all was said and done I realized the wreck still happened but I was not harmed ... just my car was totaled. The driver behind her stayed and told the officer everything that happened. She was speeding, passing him illegally, talking on her phone, and I had turned my turn signal on. The officer hardly had to ask me anything. Just had to wedge me out of my bent car and see if I was okay. I knew then God was aware of what was going to happen and was with me protecting me in the middle of things.

I had learned before this from experience: God is real; he is alive; he knows what is going on in my life and cares. He is always with me even when bad things happen. I told myself this: Next time he speaks of something bad, I will pray to him and trust that he knows what is best.
