Barby claims that Trump gave away the existence of how the US has used satellite photography in his tweet showing a destroyed Iranian military rocket facility. He's locked me out of the thread so I'm continuing his education with this thread.

Do you see the underlying racism in Barby's claims that Trump exposed a non-secret secret to the Iranians? The idea underlying Barb's claim is that somehow the Iranians are so stupid that they couldn't read about, or even recognize from official military press conferences over the last several decades, that the US had a spy satellite program. That is pure racism for it says the Iranians are too illiterate to read press releases or books on the US spy satellite program, too dumb to understand spoken English, or even if that was possible for them they are too dumb to understand those satellites could be used to spy on them.

The underlying assumption in Barby's posts on this subject are just completely bizarre.

Isn't it really bizarre that Barby thinks the Iranians would have zero knowledge of this history of US spy satellites? Just how stupid does Barby think all Iranians are?

This is a President was stated publically that he believes the denials of Vladimir Putin over the conclusions of his 17 "intelligence" agencies, justifies the production his own "alternate reality" weather maps and makes false claims that he's conducting trade negotiations with the Chinese - so it should come as no surprise that he is now tweeting classified photos of Iranian rocket facilities!

Would it not have been prudent for any President in the White House to at least consult with the appropriate military authorities before making the unilateral decision to make these photos public?

Obviously the Iranians know that their military facilities are subject to US satellite reconnaissance, but does that assumption give this president permission to go out of his way to enlighten Iran as to the American miitary's practices and methods?

What's bizarre is your reading so much into his posts that isn't there. Why do you do that? You build an entire framework for him based on your imaginings.

1. Apparently the Democrats in the House are broadening the scope of their investigations for impeachment - startng with why is Michael Cohen serving jail-time for a crime that he was instructed to commit?

2. Its being reported that a C-7 plane was rerouted twice to domestic Prestwick
Airport near Glasgow, Scotland, running up a $11 million refuelling bill at commercial rates - meanwhile the astonished crew went to the nearby deluxe Thornberry Golf Course that is experiencing financial distress and just happens to be owned by the current occupant of the White House!

The Pentagon has been "stonewalling" Congress for months in its effort to determine who ordered this unprecedented escapade!

The President is not supposed to receive any financial benefit while in office that goes beyond his personal salary!

3. Then there is the revelation that Trump is withholding $250 million in American aid designated for the Ukraine until that country launches a criminal investigation into the activities of Democratic candidate Joe Biden.

Presumably the release of the funds would be contingent on a report favourable to the current President and to be concluded just in time to coincide with the 2020 Election!

4. Then there is today's announcement that the Republicans have decided the scrap the 2020 GOP Caucuses and Primaries in South Carolina, Nevada, Arizona and Kansas to suppress any opposition to Presidential Candidate Trump - so much for democracy!

Okay since you're clearly not understanding the problem, here we go. The issue is the RESOLUTION of the image. In fact I have read experts say that the photo is probably NOT from satellites because the resolution shown is physically impossible. Either that or Trump just gave away technology most experts THOUGHT was impossible.

The alternative is that it was from a drone of some kind in which case Trump just told Iran that we are violating their airspace, which they have claimed before.

So, overall we have yet another unforced error from Trump, which was done purely to boost his fragile ego. We have such an incompetent, immoral president it's really hard to believe people that are supposedly Christians continue to defend him. lain:
