Eph 5:25-32

25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:
30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

All the Members of Christ's Body the Church shall sooner or later will be Sovereignly brought into or called into a experiential Union with Christ their Head, or a Living Fellowship, hence its written 1 Cor 1:9

9 God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

The word fellowship koinónia means:

(lit: partnership) (a) contributory help, participation, (b) sharing in, communion, (c) spiritual fellowship, a fellowship in the spirit.

Now as their Head/Husband, He Loved and gave Himself for them Eph 5:25.

His leaving His Father in Heaven was to be Joined to His Wife Eph 5:31

Now He was already in a Mystical Union with them as depicted in Eph 5:30. This Mystical Union with Christ is a Mystery to the natural man and his human reason and wisdom, tis a Great Mystery.

Now just as Eve had been in a special Mystical Union with Her Husband Adam, Her Head before being experientially joined, likewise Christ and His Spiritual Eve which includeth every member of His Mystical Body, the Church, were in a Special Union with Christ before being in time as individual members becoming experientially joined to Christ, or Called unto His Fellowship 1 Cor 1:9. Now this special Union is indicated here in Eph 1:4 when the Bride/Wife was Chosen in Her Beloved, every Member, before the foundation of the World ! God will be Faithful in bringing every member Of Christ's Eve into Fellowship with Him 1 Cor 1:9 !
