Five Serious Questions About the Animals & God

Gary K said: Thank you for saying that! It is certainly one way to reason, and I genuinely hope that it is the correct way. Assuming that such reasoning is sound--that God originally intended for animals to live forever--then would it not also be just as reasonable to believe that God will...

Five Serious Questions About the Animals & God

Hello all of you fine folks, I most definitely believe that God exists. And when I think about all the things that He has created it leaves me awestruck. The Bible says our creator is a God of love, and I believe it. However, there are some things about God that I just flat do not understand...

For What Purpose Did God Create the Planets That We Call "Mars," "Venus," "Saturn," "Jupiter," etc.?

You can't even get that right! May I suggest that you stop pretending and try listening to Puff The Magic Dragon by Peter, Paul and Mary.

Perform this 5-step self-test immediately: (1) Place one of your hands directly in front of your face. (2) If you are unable to see that hand, turn the light switch to the "on" position. (3) If you STILL are unable to see that hand, it figures. (4) Try being humble. (5) If that doesn't work, you...

For What Purpose Did God Create the Planets That We Call "Mars," "Venus," "Saturn," "Jupiter," etc.?

Hi Right Divider, and thank you for making it plain to me what you were saying. I understand you. This is my response and I will try to be more clear: Does something that is plainly obvious really need to be explained? No! It appears that you are so afraid of "adding to the Bible" that your...

For What Purpose Did God Create the Planets That We Call "Mars," "Venus," "Saturn," "Jupiter," etc.?

Hello, The multitude of obituaries I have read over the years were in regards to church-goers or "members of the body of Christ" as you put it. I will cite a few examples of them, if I may do so without being disrespectful towards the deceased and their survivors. The eleven that follow were...

Did God create animals to live for a while and then die?

Hello, and thank you very much for expressing your thoughts relative to the questions I had and the answers I am seeking. You asked a most important question, and I'm really anxious to hear/see what the person will have to say. MY PERSONAL THOUGHTS: It is taught that life in the Garden of Eden...

Did God create animals to live for a while and then die?

You can rest assured that I have never registered here before or as any other person than "Sevenz". I chose that to be my username because it's the name of my beloved Border Collie, whom I had to put to sleep this last August due to his age (13) and the poor shape he was in. We named him "Triple...

For What Purpose Did God Create the Planets That We Call "Mars," "Venus," "Saturn," "Jupiter," etc.?

I agree. On page 3 of the section of the book you called attention to, it says there are three planets in our solar system that rotate in the opposite direction than the rest. So Venus, Uranus, and Pluto rotates backwards. I find that very interesting, because it's something I never knew before.

For What Purpose Did God Create the Planets That We Call "Mars," "Venus," "Saturn," "Jupiter," etc.?

It's interesting what you've said, which I find agreeable. It's also interesting that I have read literally hundreds of obituaries which claimed the deceased had gone to heaven. Confusion at its best I guess. Thanks for replying. -- Sevenz

For What Purpose Did God Create the Planets That We Call "Mars," "Venus," "Saturn," "Jupiter," etc.?

Why did God create the planets that we call "Mars," "Venus," "Saturn," "Jupiter," etc.? It appears that most Christians believe and teach that all who become "saved" are destined to go to "Heaven" and will spend eternity there with God and Jesus. If that is true, then it begs the question that...

Did God create animals to live for a while and then die?

Musterion, you remarked: "He went by several names. Now that one." I still don't get the point. Are you implying that I am like this person called "Crucifer"? And if so, in what respect?

Did God create animals to live for a while and then die?

That is really beautiful! I will save it and cherish it along with its message. I am a collector of biblically-oriented art and figurines. In fact I have so many figurines that my wife has told me that I should either stop bringing them home or build more shelves and get a fourth Curio Cabinet...
