ICE agent shoots a driver.

"Their" "wife" says otherwise.

It looks like "gay marriage" is more responsible for this incident than the officer who fired on the driver. If the driver had had a husband, he could have told her, "This thing where you go around trying to disrupt ICE—don't do that."

I don't believer her wheels turned until she was shot. She was headed straight for the agent who shot her. Did she mean to run him down ... we won't know, but we have heard that demonstrators had attempted such things in the past. What should an agent think in a moment??? "Let me see, maybe I should wait to see if she hits me then I'll know for sure???" She should have not been harassing the ICE agents and impeding the law wit her car and should have gotten out of the car when told. All this could have been avoided. I am actually sorry she died and feel for her loved ones but what was she thinking????!

Nope. Officer was struck by the vehicle before her wheels had reached center.

She was the lead driver of a group that was following the Ice agents, impeding their duties.

Driving your vehicle into a federal officer is attempted murder.

No one said it was.

She was told to get out of her car. She was not free to leave. She tried to run the officer over.

Even if she HAD been trying to leave, her vehicle had been in reverse. She put it in drive with an officer still in front of her and stepped on the gas hard enough that her tires slipped on the ice on the ground. Had the roads been dry, it's likely talhat the agent would have been injured a lot more.

This is blatantly false.

Then maybe she should have been more considerate of her family and not followed agents who were doing their jobs around, impeding them with her vehicle.

As it were, however, impeding ICE is not allowed. That's what she was doing. Tuen she hit one of the officers. The officer pulled his gun and shot her.

From in front of her vehicle. The one which she just tried to run him over with.

Yawn.

Typical AP. It's no wonder the White House kicked them out.

The footage shows her impeding federal agents, and then attempting to run one of them over, at which point she was rewarded for her efforts with being shot.

Quit listening to leftist news sites, Anna. They're lying to you.

Here's the other angle, which clearly shows her striking the officer with her vehicle with the vehicle wheels still pointing left of center.

If she was an innocent by-stander so to speak, the why didn't she just get out of her car when asked/told??? If I were innocent I'd certainly obey men in uniforms with guns. They are on edge from others who are spewing hate at them. I mean really. So sorry for her death and have feelings for her loved ones.... but really!

I am not seeing a reason to shoot the driver. Facts stated are not facts. The driver is trying to flee. There are other videos a little longer. It doesn't help. Nobody tried to run the officer over. In slowed down videos the driver turns the wheels to flee. I don't see probable cause.
The body cam video shows his direct perspective. And I see his need to shoot, but I still see her trying to flee. With the driver looking right at him with the smirk and her "girlfried" yelling at him to drive, he doesn't know what is going to happen and is now justified in shooting. Being LEO is irrelevant to this.

JD is an embarrassment.

As a Catholic, Vance knows better than to peddle this brand of gaslighting and agitation. Vance knows that, by virtue of her humanity, Good was endowed with inherent dignity, made in the image and likeness of God. Vance knows that only God can take life. Vance knows that protesting, fleeing or even interfering in an ICE investigation (which there is no evidence that Good did) does not carry a death sentence. Vance knows that lying and killing are sins.
Vance knows. He doesn't care. Vance’s twisted and wrongheaded view of Christianity has been repudiated by two popes. His Catholicism seems to be little more than a political prop, a tool only for his career ambitions and desire for power.
The vice president's comments justifying the death of Renee Good are a moral stain on the collective witness of our Catholic faith. His repeated attempts to blame Good for her own death are fundamentally incompatible with the Gospel. Our only recourse is to pray for his conversion of heart.

Again, watch the slow mo video here:

(@annabenedetti read from here)

She's backing up. Officer in front becomes visible. She comes to a stop. Officer is still in front of her. 5 seconds into the video.

She's in the process of turning her wheels right, but they're still a good 10-15 degrees to the left of center. She puts it in drive. She lurches forwards because her tires slip, 6-7 seconds into the video, but that's enough movement that the officer, who is still in front of her, decides at that point draws his gun and opens fire, 8 seconds in, once before she hits him, then she strikes him, 11 seconds, then he continues firing as she tries to drive away still turning her wheel, but at that point, she's already been hit and the rest of her turning the wheel is (at this point likely) due to a dead-man's grip on the wheel, pulling it to the right as she slumps. She's dead before her car impacts the other vehicle a ways down the street.

Watch at half or quarter speed.

She tried to run him over, at least from his perspective.

And that's enough legal justification for him to pull his gun and start shooting.

Any driver (and I know you're a driver) knows that her wheels were first turned left as she backed up. She turned them to the right to move forward to the right of the shooter and you can clearly see his feet. No sense in going over this anymore.
