Aside from things like abortion pills, what sort of drugs shouldn't exist?
Statins. Anything that is a billion dollar industry, probably. Metformin off the top of my head. ADD, ADHD....Whatever they take for depression.

I have disavowed most of western medicine. If you need a surgeon? That is different. Or some other emergency or transplant.

Where is there a free market in play here?

The President has the authority to make U.S. policy and if the E.U. has a policy that harms America by effectively causing Americans who buy these drugs to subsidize their socialized medicine, then he has the authority to respond to that by putting policies in place to counter the injustice.

What's more is that you need to have someone who has the authority to do such things because the closer a nation is to true laze-fair capitalism, the more other countries will take advantage in ways exactly like what Trump is fixing with this EO.

And you base this on your extensive medical and pharmacological knowledge no doubt.
I thought American business was to make $, no matter what the business so why do you have an issue with a billion dollar industry? Got an issue with the oil industry or car industry because of the $?

That is the way of socialism, and many American businesses support it. They lobby and have laws passed forcing you to buy their product. That is not a free market or capitalism. Hope this helps.
what is the way of socialism? corporations making $? that makes no sense.

It makes perfect sense. The problem is that you're stupid and believe the nonsense you're told by whatever lying and irrational morons you listen to.

Capitalism - real capitalism - is about the voluntary exchange of goods and services by mutual consent and for mutual benefit. It is the economic system upon which America was founded, but from which the nation has been steadily moving away from for over a century. What many today, including you, denounce as “capitalist greed” is often not capitalism at all, it’s socialism’s bastard child. It's the corruption that thrives when political pull replaces productive ability. It’s what happens when someone who’s not that good at running a business excels instead at currying favor with politicians through donations, flattery, or backroom deals in order to secure laws that stifle competition under the guise of “the public good.” That’s not capitalism, that’s cronyism, that's socialism. It isn't built on productive ability but on grift. It's premise is not the making of money but theft.

You don't know what capitalism and socialism are. Socialism is slavery, capitalism is liberty. Now, this is how it works.

Capitalism is the system where the producer owns the means of production. For most people this is your paycheck. Socialism is when the producer does not own the means of production. If the government tells you that cannot buy a light bulb, that is socialism. They are dictating to you what to do with your production. You were fed a dump truck full of BS and bought it. Or, you are a socialist and a liar. Many people don't understand what capitalism really is either.

The Lord Jesus Christ was telling a parable. In it he used an example of this principal to make the point.

8 “So when evening had come, the owner of the vineyard said to his steward, ‘Call the laborers and give them their wages, beginning with the last to the first.’ 9 And when those came who were hired about the eleventh hour, they each received a denarius. 10 But when the first came, they supposed that they would receive more; and they likewise received each a denarius. 11 And when they had received it, they [c]complained against the landowner, 12 saying, ‘These last men have worked only one hour, and you made them equal to us who have borne the burden and the heat of the day.’ 13 But he answered one of them and said, ‘Friend, I am doing you no wrong. Did you not agree with me for a denarius? 14 Take what is yours and go your way. I wish to give to this last man the same as to you. 15 Is it not lawful for me to do what I wish with my own things? Or is your eye evil because I am good?’

I hope you appreciate the argument from authority on this one.
