On April 6th 1917 we entered WWI - fast forward 100 years. Is this possibly the beginning of the end times and WWIII? Russia is already saying that the U.S. violated International Law.

Maybe this a prelude to the Roaring '20s

Every nation in Syria outside of the Russians is in violation of International Law as well as violating Syrias soveringty by entering the country illegally and attacking the Syrian government. Russia is the only nation that has been directly invited by the Syrian government into Syria to deal with the terrorist factions and NATO aggresion.

The UN has proven to be nothing more than talking shop as it has done nothing to defend its member nation Syria and has done nothing to prevent this illegal war of aggresion under the Nuremberg principles while the US acts unilaterally in Syria under the false guise of humanitarianism.

There are two if you will catalytic events occuring as we speak -this week. One the escalation of the proxy war between Russia and the USA in Syria which could concievably turn into a hot war. And two the Supreme Court in Russia at the invocaton of the so called Ministry of Justice in the Russian Federation is possibly on the cusp of banning the Jehovahs Witnesses throughout the entire Russia Federation. If a ban does occur this would have serious implications on religious freedom in Russia (unless you're a member of the Russian Orthodox Church...) as well as globally, setting a very disturbing precedent again under the auspices of tackling 'extremism' and the international war on terror. The lata is distinctly concerning as all religions especially Islam which is claimed by some to behind these new waves of so called Islamic extremism will eventually be in the cross hairs of not only the RF but so called democratic governments the world over. Both events are being watched very closely by international observers.

Worth noting that at the same time trump is pushing China to deal with their proxy, nork, before we do, he tells russia in no uncertain terms that, when it comes to russia's buddy assad, too late, we got it

Century-old posters of U.S. WWI entry are timely in Trump's America

Fear-mongering can be a thing of beauty. That is one of the surprises of a new museum show of century-old wartime propaganda to mark the 100th anniversary of the U.S. entry into World War One after it declared war on Germany on April 6, 1917.

Equally unexpected is the show's relevance to today's America under the Trump administration, according to curators of "Posters and Patriotism: Selling World War I in New York," which runs until Oct. 9 at the Museum of the City of New York.

"We had a centenary to explore," said curator Steven Jaffe.

"But as we started looking at these amazing posters, we realized that many of the issues that engaged Americans in 1917 seemed oddly fresh, oddly timely. Nationalism, diversity, tolerance, immigration, free expression, political expression, either in the press or in free speech," he said.

"All of these things, both in terms of the United States and also some of the movements that are sweeping across Europe, really started emerging out of these posters that (are) 100 years old. We didn't expect that."

Organizers grouped the posters, which were produced by New York artists under the direction of the federal government's war-era Division of Pictorial Publicity, to encourage visitors to explore timely political themes.

While the centerpiece is an iconic finger-pointing Uncle Sam declaring "I want you," there are also striking posters challenging U.S. immigrants, "Are you 100 percent American? Prove it! Buy government bonds" and an outpouring of anti-German images.

"There was a real intolerance toward German-Americans, fears that German-Americans would be disloyal to the United States, be loyal to their homeland, Germany, that they would engage in acts of sabotage and espionage and terrorism," Jaffe said.

"Very reminiscent of some of the rhetoric we have today about Muslim-Americans and other peoples of the world who are seen as political or economic threats to our integrity and well- being."
