What happens if Donald Trump loses the US election, but refuses to concede?
Donald Trump has refused to guarantee he will leave office if he is declared the loser of the election. If he tries to stay, this is what happens next.

Personally, I don’t think any of that is going to happen. Far more likely, and more consistent with Mr Trump’s personality, is that he will claim his defeat is fraudulent and complain about it very loudly, but leave office voluntarily.

He can complain all he likes. It won’t change the result.

Does a sitting president have to "concede" anything? If Trump loses his term as president ends on January 21, 2021. Biden becomes president on that day. If Biden wins 270-268 this election will be argued and debated for decades.

Can Biden be sworn in if he's in custody?

If Biden can't be sworn in because he is in custody, I don't think Harris can be sworn in as president.

Does Pelosi then assume the presidency and Harris gets sworn in as veep?

It won't, but let's face it, he was never going to bow out with any sort of grace was he? He was stupid enough to declare victory on election day when it was anything but decided and now he's predictably whining about fraud because of mail ballots, even though it was common knowledge that early votes were predominantly going to be democrat. Effectively, he won't have any choice but to concede and all the whining in the world won't stop Biden being in the WH if things pan out according to predictions.

Very likely so. There was less violence by Trump supporters running up to the election than was expected, but if Trump declares that he was cheated, there's going to be more.

Maricopa County in Arizona has closed its ballot-counting facility to the media and the public amid safety concerns as supporters of Donald Trump — many of them armed — gathered outside the building, several reporters on the ground have reported.

But poll workers will continue to count ballots and report results amid the developing demonstration outside.

“Staff at the @maricopacounty Elections Department will continue our job, which is to administer elections in the second largest voting jurisdiction in the county,” the Maricopa County Elections Department tweeted in a statement late on Wednesday.

“We will release results again tonight as planned. We thank the [Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office] for doing their job, so we can do ours.”

Maricopa County has been going rather heavily for Biden, which perhaps explains why the mob went to that county to shut down the counting. Apparently, the county sheriff is having none of it, and the counting continues.
