- Those who have been crucified and died with Christ are released from the Law and free from sin.
- They are slaves of righteousness.
- They have been cleansed of all sin.
- They are no longer in sin, but in Christ.
- God no longer takes their sin into account.
- They are justified by faith, not by the Law.
- To walk by the Spirit is to walk by faith in what Christ has done.
- To walk by the flesh is to walk by what you do in light of the Law.
- The Law is the ministry of death and condemnation.
- Walking according to the flesh is death.
- Walking according to the Spirit is life and peace
You have no peace about this because you are still walking according to the flesh.
Romans 8:5-7 "For those who are according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace, because the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so"
