Limiting the Death of Christ

Understand something,

Those who teach that Christ died for all men without exception, and yet, all men without exception will not be saved, they do limit the death of Christ in a horrible way. They limit the efficacious power of it. They testify thereby that the death of Christ in and of itself doesn't in fact, save anyone. Now sound Gospel teachers see where the scripture teaches the limit of the extent of Christs death, limiting it to His Sheep, but they limit not the efficacious saving quality of His Death.

SPAM... this is the millionth time that we've had a thread like this. You were wrong then and you're wrong now.

1Ti 2:5-6 KJV For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; (6) Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

1Jn 2:1-2 KJV My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: (2) And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

Calvin's greatest error, and the fundamental reason he was a heretic. The Bible does nor teach ANYWHERE that men are saved by the death of Jesus. That is a lie. Men are saved by receiving His life. Stop reading Calvin and get yourself a Bible, then read Romans 5.

So you dont believe that Jesus Blood alone saved them He shed it for.

Men are saved by receiving His life

So you testify that men are saved by what they do, not what Christ did for them. The scripture condemns that as salvation by works !

The reason all will not be saved is because many seek the riches of the world and fail. The way to Christ is not easy.

"Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it" (Matthew 7:14).

Sounds like you limit the death of Christ !

His blood was shed for the sins of the whole world, so that those who believe in Him are saved by His life..

No, nor did I say that. Believing what is true about what Christ did, is not doing His works. You need a lesson in basic logic, not to mention soteriology.

Yes you did. You said man is saved by his act of receiving. Isnt that something a person does ?

Heres your statement:

Men are saved by receiving His life

Plus you flat out deny that men are saved by His death/blood which contradicts Rom 5:9

9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

Do you believe Christs Blood i and of itself saved everyone it was shed for ? Yes or No

Instead of asking your biased and retarded questions, why not just believe Scripture?

1Jn 2:1-2 KJV My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: (2) And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

That cannot be more clear.
