I am an old catholic male who votes republican
I am not a republican, I just vote republican
because
I hate the democratic party
and
would like to destroy it simply because it supports abortion
this should be job number one for every christian
to this I will add my religious beliefs at a later date

I will try to prioritize my beliefs

free will - I determine my salvation subject to the mercy of God
redemption of all by what Jesus did - some call this atonement
no one is saved until they die
no one is forgiven until they repent and forgive others
loving your neighbor is the most important thing that you do
everything hangs on that
we are being tested
how you treat you neighbor is the test

I do have some view that are not consistent with catholic teaching
but
I consider them not critical

reincarnation
pantheism

you should not be threatened by them
they can help improve your understanding of the world we live in
